Project Brief

The assignment for this project was to find a concept that fits into a calendar, then design it with a restriction of one letter per month. For this assignment, the alphabet, time, and an icon key (total of five) was to be included. There is a total of 3 months and a year calendar designed.

Behind the design

Since this assignment required a concept to fit into a calendar, I decided to go with Greek Mythology and used the twelve Greek Gods. There's a different Greek God for every month and within those months are further breakdowns of what they represent or what represents them. I used the colors black and yellow for a nice contrast between the two. A major part of this assignment was the hierarchy. Each month has a total of four weeks and seven days of one chosen week designed. To display what week it is, you will see the week highlighted in yellow. To display what day it is- the date will be visible.
